It's Award Nomination Time!

Once a year, we recognize and honor our professional colleagues who have done outstanding work and who have represented the field in exemplary ways. And we'll do that again at Conference 2008 in Austin, TX. So please go to our Awards page NOW and identify those people whom you believe deserve one of these special accolades.

OD Student Opportunity

The OD Network Student Paper and Presentation Program is now seeking papers from OD graduate students. One or more students whose papers are selected will present in a special session at OD Network Conference 2008 - with complimentary Conference registration. Papers may also be considered for publication in one of our publications. Read the guidelines and submit your paper by June 2.

Volunteer Opportunities

The OD Network seeks volunteers for two roles vital to our mission of advancing the theory and practice of organization development. We seek an experienced member as volunteer coordinator, who will develop and implement a strategy to recruit and manage volunteer teams. We’re also recruiting for one such team: the tech team will devise ways to use new technology and media to help us fulfill our mission. Check out our volunteer opportunities, and watch for more to come!

New Email Discussion List: Mindfulness

OD Network Conference 2007 lives on in a newly formed email discussion list on mindfulness. You don’t have to have been part of the early-morning conversation at the conference to join in. If you’re interested in meditation, conscious movement, stillness, yoga, or other forms of spiritual practice and their effect on your life and work in organization development, sign up for the mindfulness email discussion list!

Inclusion & Diversity Statement

The OD Network Board of Trustees has released a statement of its positions on issues related to inclusion and diversity. The first of four key beliefs is that “understanding and addressing issues of diversity, inclusion, privilege, and access are an inherent aspect of OD practice in the 21st century.”
