Scholarships
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE DUE September 1, 2008
Purpose
The OD Network Board of Trustees established the OD Network Conference Scholarship Program to provide OD Practitioners and full-time students who are financially unable to cover the Conference registration fee the opportunity to attend the OD Network Conference. Through their participation, it is hoped that they reach a higher level of performance and enhance their knowledge of OD, so that they, in turn, contribute to their association, company and/or institution and the field as a whole.
Criteria
- The applicant must be financially unable to pay the registration fee and willing to share information about their financial need (Honor System: no documentation required).
- The applicant must be an OD practitioner OR a full-time student in a graduate or post-graduate program in Organization Development.
- The applicant must be a current member of OD Network for a minimum of one year as of the date on the application—or a member of the local host Network.
- The applicant must not have received a scholarship in the previous year.
- Since we require no financial documentation, your explanation and honesty are appreciated.
Description of Awards
- Scholarships cover General Conference registration fees only and are awarded for OD Network Conference on a space and funds available basis.
- Recipients are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses.
- Recipients for this Conference year may receive only one scholarship.
- For the local OD Network partial scholarship program, applicants may be a member of either a regional network or the OD Network.
Responsibilities of Recipients
Barring illness or unforeseen emergency, scholarship recipients must attend the Conference of their scholarship award on the dates and location specified in their application. In case of an applicant being unable to attend, they may re-apply to attend a future Conference. Scholarships are not transferable to another individual.
Application
The application is a form that allows you to type directly into the fields on the screen. When your application is complete, click the "Send Application" button and it will use your own email program to attach the PDF and allow you to send in your form.

The current version is Version 8.
Notification of Selection
- Applicants are notified of their selection no later than six weeks before the starting date of the Conference (or 4 weeks for in-state applicants)
- The OD Network Scholarship Review Committee has final responsibility for selection of scholarship awards.
DO NOT register for the conference until the final selection is made. If you are not chosen for the scholarship and would still like to attend OD Network Conference 2008, the OD Network will honor the early bird member registration rate.
