We’re Seeking a New Treasurer for the OD Network Board of Trustees
We are looking for an experienced financial officer to join the OD Network Board of Trustees and chair the Board’s Finance Committee. This volunteer position leads the Board’s financial oversight of the Network, meeting monthly with the full-time staff, and serving as Treasurer of the Board. As a full member of the Board, this person would also participate in all the Board’s work.
We are particularly interested in finding someone who has financial training (CPA or MBA) and/or considerable experience overseeing the finances of a non-profit organization. We’re looking for qualified OD Network members to express their interest; if you’re interested in filling this role, please get in touch with us. Or, if you know of a financially-astute colleague whose organization values or promotes volunteer contribution, this represents a great opportunity for a non-OD professional to support the Network while building their own resume and expertise.
In either case, if you’re interested in this opportunity to contribute to the Network’s future, please contact June Delano, Chair of the Board of Trustees, at june.delano@comcast.net, as soon as possible.
OD Network Lends Support to OD World Summit 2010
"Co-Creating a New World of Organizations & Communities: Dialogue & Action"
Budapest, Hungary
August 22-26, 2010
http://www.odworldsummit.org
We think the world is not what it used to be 10-15 years ago, and it's definitely not what it's going to look like in 10-15 years from now. It's time to decode the nature of the ongoing changes around us. We feel the need to act, and we know we need to join forces. IF we do, we--as both subjects and facilitators of change, learning, and human development--can make a difference. For his to happen, though, we need to get together and take our ongoing conversations to a new level. So we now invite you to join the flow of conversations about the future taking place before, during and after 2010, a year we're devoting to reunion, togetherness, community, co-creation and coordinated action,. Specifically, we invite you to enjoy the co-creative process leading to, taking place at, and flowing from the OD World Summit in Budapest, Hungary, from August 22--26, 2010.
The Summit will focus on three key areas: non-conventional organizations, global and social impact, and cross-fertilization. With this foundation, we have designed the Summit to enable us to contribute to the development of our society and our profession; to work more closely together to strengthen our global community; to help build lasting, worldwide networks and relationships among our committed colleagues; to provide a space for emerging conversations and open dialogue about the nature of those changes taking place around us; and finally, to prepare ourselves to contribute our unique perspective and processes to the creation of a better world.
