Chris is a Director, HR & Organization Development at GlaxoSmithKline, a world-leading research-based pharmaceutical company seeking to improve the quality of human life. Chris' current role concentrates in large-scale change initiatives that cross the Research & Development division, a complex, international, matrix organization. Her primary work is ongoing diagnosis of organizational needs, design and management of appropriate interventions, and measurement assessing business impact. Her practice area includes culture development, change management, cross-organizational project leadership, HR and OD capabilities, leadership capabilities, cross-matrix organizational performance, and organizational thought leadership. Most recently she transitioned from a senior internal OD consulting role supporting GSK's U.S. Pharmaceuticals, U.S. Vaccines and US Finance. As an internal consultant, Chris engaged all levels of the organization and its stakeholders to drive systemic change both internal and external to the company.
Chris' specialties include senior leadership consulting, strategic planning, organization design, large-scale change management, leadership development, and merger and acquisitions. Her experience is concentrated in the healthcare industry, including GlaxoSmithKline, Quest Diagnostics, SmithKline Beecham Clinical Laboratories, SmithKline Beecham Healthcare Services including Diversified Pharmaceuticals, and Pfizer Animal Health.
Chris has a B.A. in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication and Behavior from the University of Delaware and an MBA concentrated in Organization Behavior from Penn State.
