OD Network Awards
Every year the OD Network honors people and organizations that, in the judgment of its members, have made significant contributions to the field of organization development. The OD Network publicly acknowledges and thanks the recipients of these awards at an event held during its annual Conference, and the names of current recipients are then added to an Awards roster maintained on this website.
Awards have been established in a number of separate categories, each recognizing extraordinary achievement, each representing a different facet of service to the field, and each assisting the OD Network, as a professional association, to serve the field of OD and its members by advancing the theory and practice of organization development.
The Network established these annual awards to fulfill several critical goals:
- To recognize different, important foundational pillars of service to the field of organization development.
- To honor those members of the OD community who have made a sustained, meaningful contribution to the OD Network.
- To acknowledge alternative paths to excellence in applying theory to practice.
- To promote more visibility, credibility, and influence for the field of OD around the world.
On the following pages you can explore the background of current recipients, review the various categories and criteria for OD Network Awards, and view the roster of past Award recipients.
And, if you know an outstanding person or an organization and believe that they deserve similar recognition, please prepare a nomination to be submitted online.
You’ll find instructions for submitting a nomination on the next page in our Awards menu.
ALL AWARD NOMINATIONS ARE DUE BY FRIDAY, AUGUST 13, 2010.
