Service to the OD Network Award
In Honor of Frederick A. Miller
Purpose of the Award
- To acknowledge individuals whose exemplary contribution and sustained service have supported the OD Network in important ways.
- To recognize individuals who have significantly strengthened the OD Network’s capacity to serve the field, and who have modeled values and behavior that increase the Network’s credibility and extend its impact.
Criteria for This Award
This award honors individuals whose service to the OD Network, over an extended period of time, has strengthened, enhanced, or changed the Network in positive ways. Such a sustained contribution could include:
- Serving the Network in direct ways.
- Providing services to members or others on behalf of the Network.
- Developing or leading vital new initiatives for the Network.
- Fostering innovative, creative alliances or partnerships for the Network.
- Helping to chart new directions for the Network.
- Making continuing, valuable contributions to the Network’s key activities.
Nominations should include examples of behavior that fulfill the above bulleted criteria.
Preference will be given to nominees who are current members of the OD Network.
